Discovering Myself

I remember, and after talking to my boss, he remembers too. EVERYTHING was Coke when we were kids!

I remember going to Shoney’s with my grandmother after church one Sunday and being asked by the waitress what I wanted to drink. I remember saying, “I want a coke!” Her responces, “What kind of coke do you want?” Then my response, “I want a sprite!”

That’s just how it went down in New Orleans. I can’t remember when it changed or when I started calling it soda. I never called it a cold drink, but I think soft drink was common.

Anyway, I now call them all soda’s. I don’t drink them anymore, so that could have something to do with it. This only popped in my head because I actually drank a few sips of a diet Coke today. Gross, might I say! haha

I just don’t like the soda’s. I’d rather an iced tea or something like that. I’m not much for the carbonation.

Anyway, go get a coke! I’d like a sprite please!

Place: La Coraba

Meal: Carne Asada, with rice and beans. I didn’t eat that many chips today! Sweet! They need to stop giving you all you can eat chips and salsa damn it!

Drink: Water

So last night I went on a rampage of cleaning. I clean the kitchen, bathroom, dining area, and my bedroom. The amount of laundry that got cleaned last night was STAGGERING!!! I think I did like 6 loads and I still have probably 3 more to do. Plus some things that need fluffing up and folding.

So I started at around 5:20pm and finished up around 11:30pm. 6 hours of cleaning and I still don’t think it’s clean.
