Meal: Blackened Tillapia with Squash Casserole, and a Chef Salad with balsamic vinegaret

Drink: Unsweet Iced Tea

I know, I usually get water, but he was getting a soda, so I figured it was a BLOW OUT!!! haha  I actually ate all the fish, but not much of the other two… they were awesome though!

I went to lunch with this really great guy today.  He shares a lot of my ideals and he’s got awesome eyes, but he might read this, so that’s on the down low, don’t tell him!  He knows he’s a cute guy, but anyway, he was really nice and although Mary Mac’s doesn’t have the healthiest cuisine it was really nice.

I’ll have to cook next time we want to eat something.  He’ll have a bit of culture shock, but I’m sure he’ll eat it! Or he’ll be FORCED TO!!! Ok, maybe not.  He’s loosened up during lunch and we chatted, or I chatted, for a long time.  We went to the park after… it was like 1000000 degrees out there… we saw the Verizon folks walking around doing that can you hear me now thing?  That was interesting.

We chatted about things we like to do, we then went to Best Buy after a drive just to check on some things that I want to get, but haven’t yet broken down and purchased.  PS3 is coming out later this month or early next month, so I’ll be buying that and he’ll be learning to play video games!

Well, we are going to the Highlands Fest tomorrow with some friends of mine, so that will be good, he’ll get to meet some of my friends and we’ll get to hang out a bit more.  He was a cute and sincere, so I think we’ll hit it off, either as friends or maybe if more happens, that would be nice… we’ll see.

Well… I’ve been talked into going out with some friends from this bookstore in town.  They are nice folks, if not a little crazy at times.  That will be a nice change.  I’m not really much for going out, so we’ll see how it goes.  I’ll probably fall asleep at like 11 at the bar… haha

Well… so much to talk about, but I just don’t know where to go.  I’m glad I finally met a decent guy in town who’s got most of his shit together! Gees, Atlanta gay men, get with it!

I have found that I want dependability and reliability in people I associate with. Flakiness (not that I’m perfect about it) is just something I can’t stand.  I guess I have friends that tend to flake a lot right now.  And my ex used to just ditch me to go drink with random people when we had plans, so no more of that bullshit!

I think I’m developing a very dependable group of friends.  I appreciate them very much.  So, I need to run and get a haircut, get back home and clean and change, then make it to lunch all in 2 hours.  I think I can do it, but I need to get off my ass and get going. haha
