Personal Development

So I need to come up with some personal development goals for the next 3 months. So here is what I came up with.
- Health and Body
- I want to be able to wear a size 32 pant and a small/medium t-shirt comfortably. Meaning that I don’t feel like I’m all poochy in them.
- I want to be able to run a 5k in a reasonable amount of time without stopping.
- I want to lose about 40 pounds. This one is flexible based on the size of my pants.
- I want to be able to do 3 sets of 30 pushups and pullups. Also, situps or crunches.
- Confidence
- For me this has to do with surrounding myself with positive people that validate me and my efforts. This is a little more difficult.
- I also need to know that I am great and all that stuff. So this one will evolve over the next few months.
- I’m not down on myself, but I need to be more confident about who I am and that there are people out there that share my views and such.
- Relationships
- I want a healthy relationship or relationships with more friends and people that will encourage and empower me.
- That means, no buying people things, taking care of myself first, surrounding myself with positive and dependable people.
- Not being codependent. I’m not usually this way, so I don’t think that will be a huge issue.
I think those are reasonable goals. I’ll keep them updated weekly.

Great goals! I am a firm believer that nothing will get done until you put it down on paper so to speak. Once you put things out into the universe and put them into time - they become real. This is why I have that groovy chalkboard in my kitchen for my To-Do lists and such. For serious goals, I am an advocate for sharing them with people you are close with so that, again, you get it out there and can be held accountable. I think you are totally on the right track, Terrence! Let me know how I can support you. There are a pair of True Religion jeans that are my goal to fit in to!
